TASHKENT, April 19. /"Dunyo" IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks in Antalya with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, "Dunyo" IA's correspondent reports.

“Held a warm and productive meeting with H.E. Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan,” the head of Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry wrote on his Telegram channel. “We noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of relations of friendship, good-neighbourliness, and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The leaders of our states have created a solid and long-term foundation for their sustainable and consistent development.

Effective dialogue at all levels continues to develop steadily. Sustainable growth in trade turnover is being ensured, including through the supply of finished products.

Special attention was paid to further expanding interregional, business, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.

We also discussed the schedule of bilateral and multilateral events planned for the current year.

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries consider further deepening the strategic partnership between fraternal peoples as a priority task.”
