Uzbekistan and Rwanda Establish Diplomatic Relations

TASHKENT, April 19. /"Dunyo" IA/. The Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Rwanda Bakhtiyor Saidov and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda Olivier Nduhungirehe signed a Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations in the city of Antalya, "Dunyo" IA's correspondent reports.
“Rwanda has become the 167th state with which Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations, - the head of Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry wrote on his telegram channel. - Together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda, H.E. Olivier Nduhungirehe, we signed a Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations.
We also signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of a mechanism for political consultations.
This step is of important significance for expanding cooperation with African countries.”
