British Media report on New Business Aviation Regulations in Uzbekistan

LONDON, April 2. /Dunyo IA/.  The British newspaper “Business Airport International” has provided a detailed account of the new stage in the development of Uzbekistan's aviation sector, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the publication, all business aviation operators planning charter flights to the capital are now required to designate “Humo” Airport as the destination in their applications and flight plans, as “Tashkent-Humo” International Airport - also known as “Tashkent-East Airport” - has been officially designated as the country’s primary hub for business aviation.

“Humo Airport” operates as a secure, controlled facility exclusively for business aviation, bypassing regular passenger traffic and featuring dedicated access. The specialized terminal layout and private roads allow for rapid transit, with the city center accessible in roughly 25-30 minutes.

Airport director Shukurjon Gaipov noted that the opening of “Humo” is a strategic milestone for Uzbekistan's aviation sector. “By creating a dedicated airport for business aviation, we are enhancing operational efficiency, privacy and service levels that meet international standards”, - he emphasized.

FCG OPS, a specialist in flight support across Central Asia, has appointed a dedicated representative to coordinate with airport ground services, including refueling and flight handling. Additionally, the company provides flight permitting and 24/7 operational support nationwide.

FCG OPS CEO Sergey Starkov noted that the designation of “Humo” as the primary hub for business aviation reflects the growth and development of the market in Uzbekistan. “Our task is to ensure operators have a smooth and predictable transition to the new service model”, - he said.

The launch of the specialized airport is expected to increase Tashkent's attractiveness for business aviation and create more comfortable conditions for international business flights.
