Four weekly flights between Tashkent and Warsaw open new opportunities for business and tourism development

WARSAW, October 5. /Dunyo IA/.   Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with Miłosz Gos, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Warsaw City Hall, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, Polish side noted the growing interest in further developing cooperation with Uzbekistan. Special attention was paid to the historical and cultural ties between Tashkent and Warsaw, as well as the expansion of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Establishment of regular air service between the capitals of the two states was also highlighted as an important factor for the further development of cooperation. Four flights a week on the Tashkent–Warsaw route create additional opportunities for expanding business, tourism, cultural and humanitarian ties.

During the meeting, particular attention was paid to the exchange of experience in the field of urban management and the development of modern urban infrastructure. In particular, parties discussed the prospects for implementing joint initiatives in sectors such as transport, digitalization, sustainable development, culture and tourism.

Following the negotiations, agreements were reached on establishing direct working contacts between the respective structures of the Warsaw City Hall and the Tashkent City Khokimiyat, defining priority areas of cooperation, and conducting sectoral and practical meetings. Furthermore, the parties agreed to consider the organization of mutual visits by representatives of the two capitals.
