ТASHKENT, February 16. /Dunyo IA/.  Within the framework of the visit to Qatar by the delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev a number of meetings were held with representatives of official and business circles, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the sides exchanged views on further deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Qatar, as well as on expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation.

At the meeting with Khalid bin Mohammad Al-Attiyah, head of Al-Attiyah Group, the parties discussed in detail the issues of intensifying trade-economic relations, attracting investments, and implementing mutually beneficial joint projects.

During the negotiations with Ali bin Fetais Al-Marri, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center of the State of Qatar, agreement was reached on the implementation of additional measures aimed at further developing cooperation in combating corruption, exchanging experience, and activating mechanisms of interaction between the responsible agencies.

In the course of the conversation with Nawaf Al-Hammadi, Executive Director of Qatar Charity, attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects in Uzbekistan in the socio-economic and humanitarian areas.
