ISLAMABAD, July 16. /Dunyo IA/.  Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan organized an open meeting with compatriots within the framework of the “Actual Visa” month announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Participants were informed about the latest changes in the visa and migration sphere, the procedure for issuing visas, the development of cooperation with foreign states on expanding visa-free travel, as well as measures to simplify visa procedures in accordance with the tasks of the “Uzbekistan–2030” Strategy.

Particular attention was paid to the advantages of the electronic visa system, consular services, issues of citizenship, legalization of documents, notarial actions and new digital services. During the meeting, diplomats answered citizens' questions and provided practical recommendations on consular and legal issues.

As the organizers noted, holding such events contributes to strengthening interaction with compatriots abroad, increasing the openness of the work of diplomatic missions and improving the quality of consular services.
