WARSAW, October 29. /Dunyo IA/.   Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan visited the “Green Crops” company in Poland, where they met with Uzbek students and irrigation specialists undergoing an internship within the framework of the “AgriCool” grant project, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Meeting was held on the occasion of the completion of the educational and practical internship organized with the assistance of the Embassy. The diplomats briefed the participants on the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, support for youth and compatriots abroad, as well as opportunities for applying the knowledge acquired abroad back in their homeland.

Participants shared their impressions of the program and proposed directions for its further development. In particular, they advocated for expanding the attraction of European agricultural machinery and relevant specialists to Uzbekistan, as well as organizing more specialized internships tailored to specific areas of the agrarian sector.

Special attention was paid to the integration of IT technologies into agriculture. The participants proposed to increase the number of practical sessions on the utilization of agricultural drones, including for irrigation and crop treatment.

Following the meeting, parties discussed plans for the upcoming year. Embassy expressed its readiness to support the initiatives of the participants and take their proposals into account when developing future programs, with a particular focus on modern agricultural technologies.
