Culture Days of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan successfully concluded with a grand gala concert in the city of Cholpon-Ata

• 112CHOLPON-ATA, July 29. /Dunyo IA/. A formal closing ceremony for the Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan took place last evening at the “Dordoi Nomad” Ethno-Complex in the city of Cholpon-Ata, located in Kyrgyzstan's Issyk-Kul Region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the Kyrgyz National Information Agency “Kabar”, gala concert was attended by Minister of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic Mirbek Mambetaliev, Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov, senior officials from both countries, prominent cultural figures, as well as local residents and visitors to the Issyk-Kul resort region. The audience enjoyed performances by the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, “Navbahor” and “Umut” dance ensembles and leading Uzbek pop artists.
As highlighted Kyrgyz National Information Agency “Kabar”, one of the evening's highlights was the performance by Uzbekistan's Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov, who holds the honorary title of People's Artist of both Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Performing some of his best-known songs, including several in the Kyrgyz language, he received a standing ovation and warm applause from the audience.
Concert programme vividly reflected the cultural affinity between the Kyrgyz and Uzbek peoples, celebrating their centuries-old friendship and enduring bonds of brotherhood, the agency noted. Blending traditional and contemporary performances, the gala created a festive atmosphere while reaffirming culture's role as a powerful bridge for strengthening bilateral cooperation and deepening the strategic partnership between the two neighbouring nations.
