National “Made in Uzbekistan” Showroom opens in Czech Republic

A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Akmal Jumanazarov, Director of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation, met with the leadership of relevant Czech organizations, resulting in agreements to expand cooperation in standardization, metrology and conformity assessment, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting, parties discussed the development of quality infrastructure, elimination of technical barriers to trade, consumer rights protection, implementation of the European Union's experience in market surveillance, expansion of cooperation in metrology and standardization, application of artificial intelligence technologies, as well as scientific and innovative interaction. Following the visit, documents were signed on organizing advanced training for Uzbek specialists in the Czech Republic and developing cooperation with the Czech Metrology Institute.
In addition, “Made in Uzbekistan” national showroom opened at the “Anděl Park” business complex in Prague. The exhibition features 48 types of export products from 17 leading enterprises of Uzbekistan. The showroom is designed to facilitate the promotion of domestic products in the European market, expand export potential and develop direct cooperation with the business communities of the Czech Republic and other EU countries.
Embassy of Uzbekistan provided organizational and diplomatic support for the visit program, including holding negotiations, official meetings and the opening of the showroom. It is expected that the agreements reached will contribute to the further development of Uzbek-Czech cooperation in the field of technical regulation and trade and economic relations.
