BEIJING, February 1. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation of Uzbek farmers, led by Deputy Chairman of the Farmers’ Council and Executive Director of the Farmers’ Support Fund, Tulkin Sattarov, visited China to study the country’s agricultural experience, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the visit, a training seminar titled “Studying China’s Experience in Cotton and Grain Production” was organized for the delegation at the Embassy of Uzbekistan. Specialists from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences participated in the event.

At the seminar, the delegation learned about modern agricultural technologies, high-yield cotton and grain varieties, scientific solutions for water and resource conservation, and methods for efficient production organization applied in China. The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is a leading national center for agricultural research and innovation, while the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences focuses on applying scientific developments in practice and working directly with farmers to improve productivity.

Upon completing the training program, participants received certificates. The visit and educational activities are noted as significant for the further development of cotton and grain production in Uzbekistan and for adapting advanced foreign experience to local conditions.

The delegation also took part in the international agricultural conference in Beijing titled “New Year - New Access to Foreign Markets”. The event focused on expanding international trade and economic cooperation in agriculture, promoting farmers’ products to foreign markets, increasing export potential, and implementing modern agricultural technologies. Industry representatives, experts, and investors from different countries discussed agricultural innovation, sustainable development, and value creation.

Additionally, Uzbek farmers visited the city of Taiya in China, where they studied high-efficiency machinery and modern technologies for mulberry cultivation. Special attention was given to resource-saving production methods, digitalization, product processing, and export-oriented production chains.
