LONDON, April 3. /Dunyo IA/. As part of the visit of the Uzbekistan delegation led by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Davron Vakhobov, a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of British business circles took place in the UK capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Negotiations were held with Anne-Marie Martin, Director of Global Business Networks at the British Chambers of Commerce; Karim Fatehi, CEO of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Iqbal Sacranie, Chairman of the Muslim Business Forum; and Coyas Mia, Head of International Trade at the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.

Primary focus was placed on expanding cooperation between the business communities of Uzbekistan and the UK. The parties discussed mechanisms for introducing Uzbek companies to the British market, business support tools and the development of direct B2B contacts.

The electrical and textile industries, food processing, jewellery manufacturing, and tourism were identified as priority areas for cooperation.

Special attention was paid to promoting Uzbekistan’s investment and tourism potential in the British market and strengthening the country's national brand.

Following the meetings, agreements were reached on further deepening cooperation, organizing joint business missions and supporting the entry of Uzbek companies into the UK market.
