ISLAMABAD, August 7. /Dunyo IA/.  Pakistan’s electronic publication “Financia Digital News” has published an analytical article dedicated to Uzbekistan’s trade and economic cooperation with G20 countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Publication notes that Uzbekistan has entered a new stage of development, in which domestic reforms are becoming increasingly closely linked with global economic processes. Therefore, the issues discussed within the framework of the G20 are gaining practical significance for the country.

“G20 brings together the world’s largest developed and developing economies, as well as the European Union and the African Union. The G20 countries account for around 85 percent of global gross domestic product, more than 75 percent of international trade and nearly two-thirds of the world’s population. For Uzbekistan, this is a vital platform where the cost of capital, the structure of global demand, the direction of investment flows, industrial standards, trade rules and approaches to ensuring sustainable economic growth are shaped”, article notes.

According to “Financia Digital News”, while industrialization occupies a central place on the G20 agenda, Uzbekistan is consistently strengthening its industrial base and aims to further advance its technological development. Amid active discussions on trade and investment issues, the country continues to open its markets, improve its regulatory and legal framework and establish new institutions to attract capital.

“This is precisely where the practical significance of the G20 agenda for Uzbekistan lies. It enables the country to better understand the directions of global economic development, align them with national priorities and transform global trends into real opportunities for ensuring sustainable economic growth. For Uzbekistan, this means the consistent implementation of its own development strategy based on reforms, protection of national interests and unlocking the new potential of Central Asia”, article concludes.
