CHENGDU, May 20. /Dunyo IA/. The China International Animal Husbandry Exhibition was held in the Chinese city of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Within the framework of the event, the first Uzbek-Chinese forum on cooperation in the livestock sector was organized with the assistance of diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan.

The forum was attended by agricultural and livestock specialists from Uzbekistan and China, livestock product manufacturers, as well as representatives from regional khokimiyats of our country.

Participants were provided with information regarding ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at developing the livestock sector, conditions created for domestic specialists to study foreign experiences, the implementation of modern technologies in the industry and measures to increase productivity.

The Chinese participants highly praised the initiatives implemented by Uzbekistan in this sector, expressing their readiness for cooperation in livestock breeding and their interest in investing in our country's industry.

In particular, Sha Yushen, Secretary-General of the National Animal Husbandry Association of China, emphasized that this first-of-its-kind forum will serve as an important foundation for developing large-scale cooperation between the two countries in the future.

During the forum, sector specialists held meetings and negotiations in G2B and B2B formats, culminating in the signing of agreements for joint projects in the livestock sector.
