CHANGSHA, May 20. /Dunyo IA/. Within the framework of the Bukhara region delegation's visit to China, the “Bukhara – Hunan Trade, Economic and Investment Cooperation” business forum was held in Changsha, Hunan Province, in cooperation with the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by heads of the provincial Committee for the Promotion of International Trade, departments of foreign affairs and commerce, as well as about 200 leading companies of the region operating in the fields of building materials manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, electrical industry and agriculture.

Presentations highlighting the socio-economic reforms in the Bukhara region, alongside its trade, economic, investment and tourism potential, were delivered to the participants.

The Chinese side acknowledged the significant potential of the Bukhara region and the favourable business environment established in the area, expressing strong interest in expanding bilateral cooperation.

During the G2B and B2B meetings, participants discussed prospects for joint investment projects in the Bukhara region, focusing on building materials manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, the electrical industry, smart agriculture and urban development.

Additionally, an agreement was reached to organize a series of business missions featuring leading Hunan Province companies to the Bukhara region.
