ISLAMABAD, August 6. /Dunyo IA/. Pakistan’s newspaper “The Nation” reported on the successful launch of Uzbekistan’s first satellite “Samarkand-2028,” which was carried out from China, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the publication, Uzbekistan’s first satellite “Samarkand-2028” was successfully launched into orbit from a spaceport located near the coast of Shandong Province, China. This event marked an important milestone in the development of the country’s space capabilities and reflects its growing ambitions in the space sector.

According to the publication, the satellite was developed and assembled in cooperation with the Chinese company “STAR.VISION Aerospace Group Limited”, clearly demonstrating the strengthening of scientific and technological partnership between Uzbekistan and China.

Joint satellite project is aimed at expanding monitoring capabilities in the fields of agriculture, environmental protection and the prevention of the consequences of natural disasters.
