SAMARKAND, September 7. /Dunyo IA/.  In an exclusive interview with a Dunyo IA correspondent, Hassan Ibrahim, a representative of the Parliament of Bahrain and member of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Bureau of Young Parliamentarians, shared his views on the significance of the 12^th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians held in Samarkand:

- This forum is of paramount importance, especially when it comes to young parliamentarians from all over the world. I serve on the Board of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and am a member of the parliament of the Kingdom of Bahrain – a country that is a close friend of Uzbekistan. Our nations have developed strong and amicable relations.

At this forum, we discussed numerous crucial topics, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals, human rights issues, and the economic conditions of various nations across the globe.

Today, we heard remarkable statements from representatives of different countries, witnessed excellent interaction among young parliamentarians and received all the necessary support. Therefore, I believe this forum was highly successful.

We have adopted important resolutions and intend for them to be implemented in the future.

Once again, I would like to express my delight that this forum took place in such a beautiful country as Uzbekistan, with its kind, hospitable, and friendly people. The country also possesses a very solid foundation for tourism development. We hope that in the future, tourism exchanges between our countries in the Middle East and Uzbekistan will expand, allowing more people to experience each other's culture and history.
