India opens its market to pomegranates and hot peppers from Uzbekistan

NEW DELHI, September 18. /Dunyo IA/.  India has officially authorized the import of fresh pomegranates and hot chili peppers from Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Respective decisions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare of India have already been published in the official government gazette, the Gazette of India.

Achieving these decisions opens up new opportunities for entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector. In particular, exporters and agro-entrepreneurs of our country gain direct access to the vast and dynamically growing Indian market.

Products will be supplied in strict compliance with phytosanitary regulations and safety standards. In response, Uzbekistan is promptly accelerating the process of granting a similar green corridor for the import of Indian pineapples and papayas.

This is an important step in strengthening trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and India, creating new opportunities for the domestic agricultural sector.
