ISTANBUL, February 18. /Dunyo IA/. A spiritual and educational online discussion on the topic “The virtues of the month of Ramadan” was held in Istanbul, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by Uzbek nationals working and studying in Türkiye.

A lecture was delivered by Iroiljon Ismoiljon ugli, Imam of the “Ok Masjid” (White Mosque) in Tashkent. In his address, he elaborated on the spiritual essence of the month of Ramadan, its significance in moral education and emphasized the importance of preserving traditional values and religious literacy while living abroad.

Particular attention was given to performing virtuous deeds, starting charitable acts with support for one’s family, self-discipline and self-control, demonstrating high moral standards abroad and upholding national dignity. Participants were also informed about the risks of becoming involved with criminal or destructive groups.

During the session, attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and receive clarifications. The organisers noted that such events contribute to strengthening the spiritual resilience of citizens living abroad and help promote a positive image of Uzbekistan internationally.
