GRODNO, June 13. /Dunyo IA/. The XV Republican Festival of National Cultures, which brought together representatives of local diasporas, took place in Belarus, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event began with a theatrical procession, which was attended by representatives of various nationalities, including compatriots and Uzbek students living and studying in Belarus. The participants, dressed in national costumes and carrying national symbols, proceeded to the square where the opening ceremony of the festival was held. Along the entire route, they were greeted with applause by local residents and thousands of guests who arrived at the forum.

The festival was also attended by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, the Deputy Prime Minister Natalya Petkevich, the leadership of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, representatives of the diplomatic corps and other officials.

During the two days of festive events, an exposition dedicated to the culture of Uzbekistan was presented on the central square of Grodno. Visitors were able to familiarize themselves with the rich history of the Uzbek people, the tourism potential of the country, its modern development, unique culture, and traditions. An exhibition of national Uzbek cuisine was also organized.

Guests of the event were presented with information materials on the history, culture, and modern development of Uzbekistan. Booklets, brochures, and other printed products dedicated to our country were distributed to visitors.
