ТАSHKENT, July 24. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, President of Serbia warmly congratulated the Leader of Uzbekistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, well-being and new successes in his state activities, as well as peace and prosperity to the people of Uzbekistan.

Two leaders discussed further strengthening the multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Serbia. Particular attention was paid to the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the President of Serbia's visit to Uzbekistan in October last year.

Two sides emphasized the importance of consistently developing cooperation in the trade and economic, investment, infrastructure, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the fields of tourism and organized labour migration.

They also reviewed the schedule of upcoming joint events, including the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and the participation of the Uzbek delegation in EXPO 2027 in Belgrade.
