ТАSHKENT, July 24. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with Valentina Matviyenko, Chair of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, Chair of the Federation Council sincerely congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, wishing him good health, well-being and continued success.

Two sides noted with deep satisfaction the productive cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, which contributes to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia.

They emphasized the importance of continuing close cooperation to ensure parliamentary oversight of the implementation of high-level agreements and promote joint projects and programs in the fields of industrial cooperation, education, and culture.
