ТАSHKENT, April 18. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Kęstutis Budrys in the city of Antalya, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Had a productive meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania H.E. Kęstutis Budrys, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Our discussions focused on intensifying political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, increasing bilateral trade turnover, and deepening business ties.

We invited Lithuanian companies to participate in the 5^th International Investment Forum in Tashkent and agreed to organize Uzbekistan–Lithuania business forums.

Exchanged views on holding joint events, expanding cooperation in the transport sector, and strengthening the legal framework.

Reaffirmed our readiness to further expand and strengthen Uzbek-Lithuanian cooperation both bilaterally and within the framework of the European Union”.
