GUANGZHOU, August 26. /Dunyo IA/.  Diplomats from the General Consulate of Uzbekistan held a meeting with Luo Qi, Director of the Guangzhou Museum of Art, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, particular attention was paid to establishing direct institutional ties between the Guangzhou Museum of Art and the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan, as well as organizing joint exhibitions, cultural-educational events and seminars.

Importance of exchanging experience in the preservation and management of museum collections, restoration and conservation of artworks, digitalization of museums and the creation of electronic catalogues and digital collections was also highlighted.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish online interaction between the two museums and organize an exchange of specialists
