KASHGAR, August 25. /Dunyo IA/.  Uzbekistan participated in the 16^th International Trade Fair “Kashgar – Central and South Asia”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing, the Khokimiyat of Syrdarya Region, Exporters Association and leading companies of the country.

Participants were presented with the economic and export potential of Uzbekistan, alongside investment opportunities and conditions created for foreign investors. Presentations showcasing the country’s trade, economic, investment, export and tourism potential were also held.

National pavilion of Uzbekistan showcased textile, jewellery, leather, confectionery and food products.

Within the framework of the exhibition, Uzbek entrepreneurs held meetings with Chinese companies to discuss expanding product supplies to the Chinese market, identifying new partners and buyers, developing direct trade ties and fostering cooperation in the transport, logistics, and customs sectors.

Exhibition brought together over 330 foreign and more than 1,000 Chinese companies from 44 countries and regions.
