Uzbekistan and Denmark discuss ways to deepen bilateral cooperation

• 99COPENHAGEN, February 24. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Rakhmatulla Nurimbetov, made a working visit to Denmark to discuss prospects for the development of Uzbek–Danish relations across various sectors, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During meetings at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Immigration and Integration, exchanges of views took place on strengthening bilateral political dialogue, trade, economic, investment and technological cooperation, as well as on establishing partnerships in the areas of migration and climate resilience.
In a meeting with Ragen Nair, Head of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), discussions focused on opportunities to enhance the protection of the rights and interests of Uzbek labour migrants, their social adaptation and reintegration, and support for legal labour migration from Uzbekistan to Northern European countries.
Additionally, the delegation of the Uzbek Embassy visited the Secretariat of the Nordic Council of Ministers in Copenhagen to familiarize themselves with regional integration practices in the Nordic region.
As part of participation in the international tourism exhibition “Danish Travel Show” in the city of Herning, the head of the diplomatic mission met with Georg Sørensen, Executive Director of the managing company Messecenter Herning, to discuss the organization of business missions and roadshows involving Uzbek entrepreneurs.
Diplomats from the Embassy also visited the headquarters of “Aller Aqua AS”, a company specializing in the production and supply of high-quality feed for the aquaculture industry.
