Polish “Rzeczpospolita” Writes About New Measures Supporting Foreign Investors in Uzbekistan

WARSAW, June 28. /Dunyo IA/. The Polish newspaper “Rzeczpospolita” published an article dedicated to new measures supporting foreign investors presented at the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Publication notes that the authorities of Uzbekistan continue to improve the investment climate, paying special attention to strengthening legal guarantees for investors, developing the capital market, and introducing new financial instruments.

Newspaper reports plans to create the Tashkent International Financial Center with a special legal regime based on the principles of English common law, as well as an International Commercial Court with the participation of foreign judges and experts.

Particular attention is given to the further development of the capital market, the implementation of the privatization program, and measures aimed at attracting foreign investment.

According to the data cited in the article, the volume of foreign direct investment in Uzbekistan increased from 3.3 billion US dollars in 2017 to 43.1 billion US dollars in 2025. The number of foreign investors operating in the country has also significantly increased.
