Polish company to launch pasta production in Uzbekistan

• 106WARSAW, June 12. /Dunyo IA/. The business mission to Uzbekistan by Ryszard Kaczorowski, the owner of the Polish company “Makarony Babuni” and his deputy Arkadiusz Górski, has concluded, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The visit was supported by diplomats from the Embassy. Within the framework of the program, the delegation held meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Association for Economic Cooperation, Khokimiyat of the Jizzakh Region, “Jizzakh” Free Economic Zone, as well as with Uzbek entrepreneurs and retail chains.
Industrial sites with ready infrastructure in the Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions were also inspected for the potential implementation of investment projects.
Following the visit, agreements were reached to launch an investment project for pasta production in Uzbekistan, export functional iodized flour to Poland, and recruit labour migrants from Uzbekistan to the company's enterprises in Poland.
