KAZAN, August 14. /Dunyo IA/. Supported by the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Kazan, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Small Business Association, and business circles visited Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and Samara Region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Within the framework of the visit, business forums were held in the Russian regions with the participation of over 100 Uzbek enterprises and about 200 Russian companies. During the meetings, entrepreneurs discussed opportunities for expanding industrial cooperation, product localization, export development and launching new joint projects.

Exhibitions of Uzbek products and bilateral B2B meetings were also organized for the participants. Following the outcomes of the meetings, Uzbek companies concluded export contracts with their Russian partners, and reached agreements on establishing trading houses and implementing joint projects.

Separately, cooperation agreements were signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and territorial chambers of commerce and industry of Russia. The documents provide for the development of trade and economic ties, as well as the expansion of opportunities for exporting Uzbek products to the Russian market.
