ТАSHKENT, September 21. /Dunyo IA/.   Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, Leader of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulated President of Russia on the successful elections to the State Duma and wished the newly elected parliament fruitful work.

During the conversation, the issues of deepening the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia in the context of implementing the agreements reached at the highest level were considered.

Importance of successfully holding the upcoming meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Council of Regions, as well as the Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in Russia, was emphasized.

Parties also reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
