AKTAU, September 21. /Dunyo IA/.  An official reception marking the 35^th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan was held in the Kazakh city of Aktau, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was attended by representatives of local authorities and the diplomatic corps, public figures, compatriots, as well as the creative team of the “Mangystau TV” channel.

The official part of the event commenced solemnly with the performance of the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Representatives of the official circles of Kazakhstan particularly noted the high achievements of Uzbekistan over the 35 years of its independent development, especially during the last decade. It was emphasized that our country's policy of openness and good-neighbourliness has gained widespread recognition from the international community.

It was also noted that the relations of strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are consistently developing in the spirit of mutual respect.

During the festive event, special videos were demonstrated to the guests, reflecting the wide-scale reforms and achievements across various sectors implemented in our country in recent years under the leadership of the Head of State.
