MOSCOW, September 26. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation from the representative office of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan in Russia, led by Director Oybek Odilov, visited the Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod regions to meet Uzbek citizens working there, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the working visit, agency representatives visited Abi Product JSC, Vladimir Sewing Factory Ladushka LLC, Sladkaya Zhizn, Monotek Stroy and several service-sector facilities employing Uzbek nationals.

The delegation reviewed the citizens’ working and living conditions, employment contracts, timely payment of wages and compliance with migration legislation. Particular attention was given to personal safety measures and procedures to follow in emergency situations.

The delegation received 24 requests from Uzbek citizens during the visit. Four people were assisted with purchasing air tickets to return home, 20 received one-time financial assistance, and 46 were provided with detailed legal consultations.
