Uzbekistan promotes youth engagement through nationwide “Youth Tourism Week” in January 2026

ТASHKENT, December 30. /Dunyo IA/. From 1 to 10 January 2026, the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with partner organizations, will organize a series of events as part of “Youth Tourism Week”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During this period, school pupils, students, and young people aged 7 to 30 are invited to travel across Uzbekistan and explore the country’s attractions.
As part of this initiative, accommodation facilities across the country will offer discounts of up to 20%.
In addition, young people will be eligible for a 10% discount on visits to shrines and pilgrimage sites administered by the Agency for Cultural Heritage and the “Vaqf” charitable foundation.
“Uzbekistan Airways” will provide a 50% discount on economy-class fares for domestic flights for pupils and students of secondary specialized, vocational, and higher educational institutions. The discounted tickets will apply to flights operated between 26 December 2025 and 11 January 2026.
Furthermore, in order to ensure meaningful and engaging holiday activities, a program of concert and entertainment events has been developed and will be held throughout the republic during the Week.
In addition, in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. RP–399 dated 22 November 2024, “On measures to enhance the role of theaters in the cultural life of society and further support their activities”, citizens included in the “Iron notebook” “Women’s notebook,” and “Youth notebook” as well as persons with disabilities, will be able to attend performances at state theaters free of charge.
It should be noted that Youth Tourism Week is being held in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. RP–232 dated 30 April 2022, “On additional measures for the diversification of domestic tourism services”.
