JEDDAH, December 30. /Dunyo IA/. The Consulate of Uzbekistan in Jeddah provided timely assistance to a fellow citizen receiving treatment at the Saudi National Hospital in Mecca, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Diplomats from the Consulate of Uzbekistan in Jeddah provided close support to a fellow citizen from Andijan receiving treatment at the Saudi National Hospital in Mecca, ensuring all necessary assistance was delivered in a timely manner,

The consulate took comprehensive measures to facilitate the patient’s return to Uzbekistan, working in coordination with “Musaffo Travel” and “Uzbekistan Airways”.

“Musaffo Travel” covered all financial aspects related to the patient’s hospital care, as well as expenses connected to the patient’s spouse residing in Mecca.

Consulate staff arranged for the patient to be transported from the hospital to Jeddah International Airport via a specially equipped medical ambulance and assisted in boarding the aircraft. A ticket for the HY-336 “Jeddah-Tashkent” flight was purchased jointly by “Musaffo Travel” and the patient’s family, enabling the safe repatriation of the Uzbek citizen.

The patient has now reunited with family members in Tashkent and continues medical treatment at the Republican Emergency Medical Center.
