BUDAPEST, August 11. /Dunyo IA/. On the eve of the 35^th Anniversary of the State Independence of Uzbekistan, Sándor Seremet, Senior Research Fellow at the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs, conveyed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the people of Uzbekistan through Dunyo IA:

- Since gaining Independence, Uzbekistan has traversed a complex yet honorable path of development. Particularly noticeable transformations have taken place over the past decade. Large-scale reforms have given a new impetus to the country's development, significantly expanding its economic potential, infrastructural capabilities and prospects for international cooperation.

Today, the country's open and pragmatic foreign policy, as well as the special attention paid to strengthening good-neighborly relations with the states of Central Asia, are of paramount importance. Tashkent's initiatives aimed at developing regional cooperation not only contribute to strengthening trust among states but also enhance the stability and investment attractiveness of the entire Central Asian region.

It should be particularly noted that relations between Hungary and Uzbekistan have reached the level of strategic partnership. Ties in the fields of education, science, culture, and economy are consistently developing. A significant manifestation of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries is the education of a large number of young Uzbek citizens in Hungary's higher educational institutions under the “Stipendium Hungaricum” program.

In the future, energy, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, digitalization, transport and logistics, as well as green energy can become promising areas of cooperation between Hungary and Uzbekistan. At the same time, Uzbekistan's active participation in the activities of the Organization of Turkic States opens up new opportunities.

Country's efforts in the sphere of sustainable development, digital transformation, and the formation of a green economy also deserve recognition. Initiatives such as the digitalization of the tourism industry and the creation of a unified national tourism platform based on the use of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies meet the requirements of the current stage of development.

Uzbekistan possesses all the necessary capabilities to strengthen its position as one of the leading economies in Central Asia over the next 10–15 years and to transform into one of the important transport and logistics hubs of Eurasia.

I sincerely congratulate the people and the leadership of Uzbekistan on the 35^th Anniversary of the country's Independence. I wish all the residents of the nation new achievements and success on the path of further development, peace and prosperity, as well as strength and energy for the realization of these noble goals.
