SANAA, August 31. /Dunyo IA/. Yemen’s leading news agency SABA and Aden Ghad newspaper have published reports on President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s address at an event marking the 35^th anniversary of the country’s independence, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The publications highlighted seven national programs aimed at developing the economy and healthcare, protecting the environment, strengthening the rule of law and enhancing the role and dignity of the individual.

The reports noted that 20–25 trillion sums are allocated annually to support young people, while their share in entrepreneurship has reached 35 percent. Yemeni media also highlighted Uzbekistan’s efforts in digitalization, science and technological development, as well as its sporting achievements.

The publications praised Uzbekistan’s open and peaceful foreign policy and its expanding cooperation with countries and regions around the world.
