Adviser to Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister meets new Director of KOICA Office in Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, September 3. /Dunyo IA/. Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Munira Aminova held a meeting with Kim Myong Jin, the newly appointed Director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Office in Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides discussed the current state and prospects for further strengthening Uzbekistan–Korea development cooperation
The significant contribution of KOICA to supporting Uzbekistan’s development priorities and implementing important social and infrastructure projects was noted. Particular attention was given to cooperation in AI and digitalization and integration of AI in healthcare, agriculture, education as well as climate and water management issues.
The two sides expressed mutual interest in further expanding the partnership and developing new joint initiatives, drawing on Korea’s experience and taking into account Uzbekistan’s national development priorities.
The importance of maintaining close coordination and regular exchange of views in identifying promising areas and projects for future cooperation was also emphasized.
