Around 500 Uzbek citizens receive consular assistance in Rostov-on-Don

• 48TASHKENT, September 3. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Olimjon Abdullaev held outreach meetings with Uzbek citizens working in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Representatives of Uzbekistan visited the companies SSK, Rostovskaya Legenda and Khimpek, where Uzbek citizens are employed. Particular attention was paid to providing consular and legal assistance, registering citizens for consular records, and establishing direct communication between compatriots and the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don.
The delegation also assessed the working and living conditions of Uzbek citizens on site, as well as the issues and needs they raised.
The compatriots were briefed on procedures for protecting their rights and legitimate interests, requirements of Russian legislation, personal safety measures and the steps to be taken in emergency situations.
