Technical College in Andijan Region receives 35 sewing machines from Saint Petersburg free of charge

• 221SAINT PETERSBURG, October 3. /Dunyo IA/. The First Technicum of the Balykchi District of the Andijan Region was presented with 35 sewing machines as part of a joint charitable initiative by the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Saint Petersburg and compatriots, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Charitable action is timed to coincide with the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of Uzbekistan and is aimed at supporting the material and technical base of educational institutions, professional training of youth and promoting their employment.
Transferred equipment will allow the students of the technicum to improve their practical skills in the specialty of “sewing” and gain more opportunities to master modern professional competencies.
It is expected that the acquired skills will help young specialists find employment in the future and secure a high-demand profession for themselves.
It is noted that the support rendered to educational institutions by compatriots residing abroad and diplomatic missions contributes to the development of the professional education system in Uzbekistan.
Charitable initiatives of this nature are planned to be continued in the future.
As a reminder, in August, also with the assistance of the General Consulate in Saint Petersburg, a shipment of modern outdoor sports equipment with a total value of 1,302,515 rubles was delivered to Uzbekistan free of charge.
