KUWAIT CITY, September 30. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ayubkhan Yunusov met with Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs of Kuwait Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed issues regarding bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as the development of tourism, transport, and healthcare sectors.

The sides also exchanged views on the current situation in the region.

Kuwaiti side reaffirmed its readiness to continue practical efforts to further develop bilateral ties.

Recalling his previous visit to Uzbekistan, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah noted the hospitality of the Uzbek people, the country’s national traditions, as well as the peaceful and safe atmosphere in Uzbekistan.

In conclusion, the interlocutors emphasized the paramount importance of effectively utilizing existing opportunities to further strengthen the partnership between Uzbekistan and the State of Kuwait.
