KUWAIT CITY, September 5. /Dunyo IA/. A meeting was held in Kuwait with the management of “Montreal House Wholesale Co.” to discuss increasing exports of industrial products from Uzbekistan to the Kuwaiti market, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Under a previously concluded agreement, the first batch of Uzbekistan-made carpets worth $40,000 was delivered to Kuwait. Their sale and promotion have already been organized through the company’s local retail network. Due to the situation in the Middle East, delivery of the products took two months.

During the meeting, the participants reviewed the placement, display and sale of Uzbek carpets at the company’s warehouses and retail facilities.

The sides also discussed the possibility of exporting a second batch worth $250,000, comprising five containers of carpet products.

To move the agreements toward practical implementation, representatives of the Kuwaiti company plan to visit Uzbekistan in the near future. During the visit, they will familiarize themselves with local production facilities and product ranges and agree with their Uzbek partners on the specifications of the next order.
