WARSAW, September 5. /Dunyo IA/. Uzbekistan and Pakistan have reached a preliminary agreement to expand bilateral trade along routes through China, bypassing Afghanistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing the Polish portal “Kierunek Kaukaz.”

According to the publication, the two sides plan to sign a relevant protocol in the near future. The document is intended to expand transit opportunities and ensure uninterrupted supplies between the two countries amid regional security challenges.

The publication also notes that Uzbekistan is continuing work on the Trans-Afghan railway route, which is expected to provide faster access for Uzbek goods to Pakistan’s seaports.
