Uzbekistan implements Scandinavian best experience in child rights protection

STOCKHOLM, May 21. /Dunyo IA/. The Swedish publication “CAWA Media” highly praised Uzbekistan's reforms in ensuring child safety in the digital space, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The published article pays special attention to legislative amendments aimed at improving the system of protecting minors from violence.

The publication highlighted the successful adaptation of the Scandinavian “Barnahus” model principles within Uzbek legislation. Under this system, the interrogation of underage witnesses and victims is conducted in a safe environment, with the participation of psychologists and only once, which helps prevent the re-traumatization of children.

According to “CAWA Media”, these reforms serve as practical proof of Uzbekistan's commitment to international standards in child rights protection, human dignity and ensuring the safety of the younger generation in the digital space.
