DOHA, October 12. /Dunyo IA/.   On October 15^th, Tashkent will host the 4^th International Congress of Endocrinologists of Uzbekistan “Turakulov Readings – 2026”, featuring the participation of Professor Khalid Hussain from the Qatari medical center “Sidra Medicine”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event will be held under the motto “Endocrinology Without Borders – Science, Innovation and Clinical Practice” and will be dedicated to topical issues in endocrinology and the development of international professional cooperation.

Professor Khalid Hussain, a specialist in pediatric endocrinology at “Sidra Medicine” and Professor of Pediatrics at “Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar”, will present a report on the application of genetic diagnostics and targeted therapy for monogenic diseases in children.

Presentation will examine the possibilities of identifying the genetic causes of hereditary diseases and selecting treatment based on the individual characteristics of patients.

Participation of the Qatari specialist is aimed at exchanging international clinical experience and developing cooperation between the Academician Yo.Kh. Turakulov Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology and “Sidra Medicine”.
