Uzbek products impress visitors at trade fair in Doha

DOHA, December 2. /Dunyo IA/. From November 28 to December 1, the “Products of Uzbekistan” exhibition-fair was held at one of the largest shopping and entertainment centers in the Qatari capital, City Center Mall. The event showcased food products, confectionery, and agricultural goods produced in Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
This was the first exhibition of its kind organized in Qatar, aimed at promoting Uzbek national brands in the local market.
The opening ceremony was attended by First Vice Chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohamed Al-Kuwari, as well as heads of the country’s largest companies, including the founder and chairman of Al Faisal Holding, Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani; CEO of AAMAL, Rashid AlMansoori; CEO of Abu Issa Holdings, Nabil Abu Issa; and others.
Approximately 30 leading Uzbek companies—among them J&R, Bonaf, Qand, AgroFood, Caravan Gardens, Ermak, Tavois Agromir Expo, Makkaldo, Sherakhun, Frutata, Optimus Fruit, and others—presented more than 50 types of products to Qatari consumers.
The exhibition served as an important platform for establishing direct business contacts between the two countries and fostering trade and economic cooperation.
More than 200,000 visitors attended the fair and were able to experience firsthand the high quality of Uzbek products. Manufacturers established direct connections with over 200 Qatari importing companies. As a result of the event, agreements were reached to export Uzbek products to the Qatari market worth a total of USD 15 million.
