ABU DHABI, November 4. /Dunyo IA/.   Embassy of Uzbekistan in the UAE has held negotiations with Oliver Barbagallo, Chief Executive Officer of the Middle East division of the investment company “Plenary Group”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, parties discussed opportunities for expanding Uzbek-Emirati investment cooperation, paying special attention to infrastructure and socially significant projects within the territory of New Tashkent.

Company representative was briefed on the large-scale construction works, modern urban planning approaches, investment climate of Uzbekistan and the conditions created for foreign investors. In addition, promising avenues for capital investment were presented.

Oliver Barbagallo expressed the interest of “Plenary Group” in participating in major projects related to the development of the social sphere, infrastructure and the construction of administrative facilities in New Tashkent.

Following the negotiations, parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue the dialogue on the implementation of prospective investment initiatives and the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
