LONDON, May 26. /Dunyo IA/. In London, within the framework of the business forum Uzbekistan Investor Day, the British financial institution ICBC Standard Bank signed cooperation agreements with a number of Uzbek banks, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In particular, agreements were concluded with Agrobank for USD 50 million, with Mikrokreditbank for USD 50 million, and with the Business Development Bank of Uzbekistan for USD 40 million.

The report notes that these agreements are aimed at developing capital market operations, diversifying funding sources, and expanding international cooperation between Uzbek banks and foreign investors.

It is also emphasized that the signed arrangements will contribute to strengthening the position of local banks in international financial markets and creating a solid financial foundation for the implementation of large-scale investment projects.
