TASHKENT, May 25. /Dunyo IA/. Today, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov met with Aleksandr Ogorodnikov, the Ambassador of Belarus, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, during the talks, the parties discussed priority areas for the further development of Uzbekistan–Belarus relations, as well as the implementation of agreements reached at the high and highest levels.

The twelfth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission between Uzbekistan and Belarus, held in Tashkent on May 19, 2026, was highly appreciated. It was emphasized that its outcomes would contribute to the consistent strengthening of practical cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.

The sides also exchanged views on the schedule of joint events planned to be held at various levels until the end of the current year.
