ANKARA, September 27. /Dunyo IA/.  Within the framework of the VIII International Turkic World Tourism Congress and Festival held in Ankara, the tourism opportunities of Uzbekistan were presented, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

At the stand of Uzbekistan, visitors were able to familiarize themselves with the historical cities of the country, its cultural heritage, as well as tourism programs in various areas. During the event, “Uzbekistan - 365 Days” concept was presented, designed to position the country as a tourism destination attractive throughout the entire year, rather than only in a specific season.

Within the framework of the presentation, the opportunities for cultural travel to Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, as well as mountain, ecological, pilgrimage, gastronomic, medical, and wellness tourism were demonstrated. Visitors to the stand could communicate directly with representatives of the tour operator and select a tourism program taking into account their interests and preferences. On the first day of the event, 11 tours to Uzbekistan were sold.

Within the framework of the “Uzbekistan - 365 Days” concept, it is also proposed to hold compact presentations in Turkish cities, organize meetings between tour operators of the two countries, develop cooperation with universities and create video materials featuring the Turkish audience.
