ТASHKENT, January 29. /Dunyo IA/. Today, an official welcoming ceremony for the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held at the Ak Saray Residence of the President of Türkiye in Ankara, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, the Leader of Uzbekistan was welcomed by the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

A guard of honor was lined up on the square in honor of the distinguished guest. Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took their places on the podium, where a military orchestra played the national anthems of the two countries. The leaders reviewed the guard of honour and greeted the members of the official delegations.

Talks between the heads of state are currently underway in in a tete-a-tete format. The parties are discussing the further development and strengthening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
