BRUSSELS, July 4. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with representatives of “Daybreak Travel” to discuss prospects for promoting Uzbekistan's tourism potential, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the prospects of promoting our country's tourism potential in the markets of Belgium and Luxembourg, as well as the development of cooperation with local tour operators, were discussed.

Belgian side expressed interest in expanding tourism destinations and noted the prospects of including Uzbekistan in combined routes linked with China and the historic Great Silk Road. Special attention was paid to the possibility of developing joint tours combining visits to China and the historic cities of Uzbekistan - Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue practical interaction, including the exchange of information on tourism events, the development of contacts between tour operators and the creation of joint tourism products.
